Our school has been locked since the beginning of July. Apparently they're redoing all of the floors. We can get back in on August 1. I am going crazy.
I bet! My mom's a second-grade teacher and she's gone in once or twice a week for the last few weeks! Makes me feel like a bum. Thanks for reading my blog, and the comment, btw!
ha! I know the feeling! Of course, one teacher at my school came in and RUINED the newly waxed floor in the elevator and his classroom. Wow, you should have seen the talking to he got from the custodial staff. I always call ahead and ask if I can go in a little early--usually if they do my room "first" it dries out first. I also bring cookies and Trader Joe's gift certificates. :)

It killed me that they moved my room while I was at a conference, and when I came back to prep for summer school, all my stuff was packed and gone!
I can't get back in until the 15th.

I can't believe they moved your stuff out of your room. I'd have been so mad!
I might bring them cookies or brownies or something... they worked hard over the summer, and they definitely deserve it!
We're having major construction on our campus, so I haven't been able to get in at all.
Oh yeah, and my classroom was totally demolished. All of my stuff is in another teacher's room.
